Our learners are at the centre of everything we do. We provide maximum flexibility for their learning experience by offering a well-diversified portfolio of different study formats and courses along two segments: IU for Individuals and IU for Enterprises.
In addition, we foster partnerships with national and international corporations, the German Government and global strategic partners to provide learners with future-job oriented skills.

With our overall course portfolio – ranging from stackable, modular offerings to bachelor’s and master’s degree programmes – we capture global market trends in business administration or social work. In addition, we constantly develop innovative education content for the digital age, such as growth hacking, artificial intelligence and FinTech.

IU FOR INDIVIDUALS

Distance Learning

Our full-fledged online study format. Students are free to decide whether they want to complete their studies full-time or part-time and when they want to study. Digital tools such as educational videos and interactive books as well as IU's state-of-the-art AI learning buddy Syntea support them.

DUAL STUDIES

Our dual study format combines theoratical and practical learning and trains talents precisely for their jobs: more than 15,000 corporate partners are part of our network. The dual course of study takes 3,5 years and takes place alternately in the company and on campus.
